Formula & method

FV = P × [((1 + r)^n − 1) / r] × (1 + r), where P = monthly SIP, r = monthly return (annual% ÷ 12 ÷ 100), n = months.

Examples

  • ₹5,000/month for 10 years at 12% p.a. → invested ₹6,00,000, maturity ≈ ₹11.6 lakh (illustrative)
  • Higher tenure and return increase compounding, actual fund returns vary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the return guaranteed?

No. The return field is your assumption. Mutual fund SIPs are market-linked; past performance does not guarantee future results.

Does this include taxes or exit load?

No. It shows a gross projection before tax, fees, and loads. Consult your fund factsheet for actual charges.
